Start with your favorite face. A partner is part of the fun, so there is no need to turn your first choice into an unverified tier list.
Characters and partners are different counts
The official site advertises over 145 characters and 16 partner characters. Meeting a character does not by itself mean that character is one of the selectable partners.
Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll are featured prominently by Sanrio Games. Check the actual Partner selection screen for the choices available to your save. We do not publish an assumed full partner roster from minigame appearances.
A useful way to choose
- For a first session, choose the character you will enjoy spending time with.
- For a group session, let everyone make their own choice before discussing strategy.
- For a collection session, decide whether you want to revisit a familiar friend or try someone different.
- If you are comparing performance, keep the game, difficulty, and team setup the same before drawing a conclusion.
Build a routine around a friend
The manual links friendship to spending time playing and chatting with a partner. Make those interactions part of a relaxed visit rather than assuming a hidden shortcut.
If you are working toward special clothing, note the partner and your current in-game progress. We have not verified numerical friendship thresholds, a fastest route, or unique statistical advantages.
Change partners when you want a fresh visit
Use the Partner Room in the Photo Studio when it is time for a change. A photo before switching makes a nice record of the session, especially when several players are taking turns choosing the next activity.
